The Cat in the Hat is a simple story about 2 kids on a rainy day with nothing to do (a scenario that all kids can relate to) who get a visit from a wacky cat.

Chika Chika Boom Boom is by far one of the most innovative and exciting abc books on the market. It introduces the ABC’s in a fun and rythmical fashion that keeps children sitting in their place and glued to the book.
This is one of the most captivating books for young children. While teaching English in Japan, our kids would literally flock around once I took this book out. The story is something that children can relate with and it is one of the few books that have a matching song.
Reading to children from an early age is one of the best ways to help them develop their langauge skills and foster their interest in reading. I also believe that childrens books provide some of the best resources for learning a foreign language.
After many years of teaching English in Japan, I have noticed that many of the same difficulties with ｌearning English tend to repeat themselves.
I will be recommending children’s books popular with little kids here in the states and great for learning English. When I have time, I will also address common difficulties with learning English and put up hints on how to improve your English skills.
I also take a look at sites that teach English and will recommend sites that I think will help people to learn English.
